I am going to begin a blogging schedule for myself…so I can keep myself accountable. Because I really do want to blog!!!
I just get bogged down with life. A lot.
Without further a do, I am going to attempt (guys, attempt– bear with me) to post something every other Saturday, beginning on the 29th of December. And if I happen to post something else in the in-between-times, then YAY! And if I don’t, then I’ll post on the Saturday next on the schedule.
Anyway. Christmas is sooo close, y’all!!!
We drew names for each other (kid-wise) for stockings…which means nobody knows who drew who and everybody is giddy with excitement 😀
I won’t give names (’cause that’s against the rules) but I will say that I drew the name of a 5-year-old boy who is the BEST LITTLEST BROTHER IN THE WHOLE WORLD (I’m sure those of you who have younger brothers can concur because you feel the same way about yours 😉 )and even though he’s not perfect, he’s still so sweet and energetic and has a fantastic sense of humor…he laughs at my jokes even when they’re not funny LOL 😀
SO…if you have any ideas of what I can get as a stocking-stuffer for a 5-almost-6 year old boy who is crazy about Narnia, dinosaurs, and Lightening McQueen, please share thoughts in the comments below ❤ I appreciate all the input I can get!
I hope you all have a very MERRY Christmas…and please do not forget the One who gave His all for you so that you could have eternal life. See how many ways you can show Him you love Him this Christmas.
“7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so [d]prove to be My disciples. 9 Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. 12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another.” ~ John 15:7-17 ESV
