Loving With ALL of Yourself

Hey y’all!

I really, really apologize for my inactivity here… some unexpected challenges have flowed our way. My maternal Grandmother now has stage 4 cancer that’s not in a good place in her right now, and so life has been mainly around going back and forth 5 hr drives to take care of her and helping everybody at “the house” to stay afloat ( God is so good❤️)……..

We’re trusting Him through all of this. And He is miraculously lowering her cancer count through dietary changes and chemo treatment!! We are so thankful 💕

I miss being here in the blogging world! 😫

So I just wanted to send all of you a quick shot of encouragement…with the possibility of doing a series on this, potentially 😉

“ ‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.’” ~ Mark 12:30-31

The Lord has really been teaching me a lot through just these verses. We are made  to LOVE HIM, folks— made solely for His glory! That involves every bit of us. Every part of us was designed FOR Christ ( I’ve got a verse to back that up but don’t have it right now… will include it in a future post, Lord willing 😉❤️).

This is so crucial. Where the world tries to force us into thinking like IT does, dressing like IT does, talking like IT does, and treating ourselves and others like IT does, the Bible command us to embrace a beautifully radical and different approach— a godly perspective.

We are to use every avenue the Lord has provided— every good thing He’s blessed us with— as a channel through which to honor, love, and serve our Lord and Savior.

It’s an opportunity to love God back, guys!!

What a glorious calling… and what potential!!!

We are each uniquely designed.

In His own image…for reasons specific to how GOD MADE US…

I think that’s amazing.

And challenging, too! There’s a verse in Proverbs (again I’m drawing a blank🤪💕) that talks about how those who devise good will be blessed.

You don’t have to be in Africa or the Middle East or Asia to take on this mission.

You have the freedom to tackle this mission right where YOU are! Right where God has placed you. He’s done so for a reason (as if there’s anything God doesn’t allow for a good reason 😉❤️❤️).

You have a challenge.

I have a challenge.

Worth the difficultly?

You bet.

Let’s pursue godliness… much like the athlete does that Paul describes in one of those awesome epistles.

Let’s love the Lord through all four channels: Heart. Soul. Mind. Strength.

Until next time…💕

(Now I really think it’d be cool to dive into each topic covered in that verse in a separate post each………….❤️)

SOoo…What Do YOU Think About Loving the Lord With Every Bit of Yourself? What Are Some Ways You Carry Out This Mission? I’d Love To Get Other People’s Thoughts!! ❤️❤️
