Just another thought that the Lord reminded me of yesterday 😊 Mindsets can be tricky, sticky, and stubborn things to change, but the Lord is awesome and He’s been slowly working on mine!

Remember the verse in Mark I posted last time? The one about loving God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength?

Well, this ties into that. (It re-slapped me upside the head during a family Bible study last night over dinner.)

Isn’t that just…I don’t know…AMAZING?!?!?

I’ve always known that— or heard it/accepted it. But maybe I just never grasped the sheer magnitude of that statement.

I mean, He could’ve chosen some other creation to bear His own likeness.

But He chose us.

Now…in light of that…isn’t that SUCH a PRIVILEGE?????

WoW.

Why WOULDN’T we want to invest in loving Him in every area of our lives— aspects He fashioned Himself after His image?

It’s a drastic shift in my attitude towards many, MANY things…money management, time management, relationships management, body/health management, heart management, mind management………

An attitude of humility and gratitude just drowns out the chaos of the world’s demands and selfishness. It makes it look so pointless and silly.

We are here TO BRING GOD GLORY, y’all!! That’s our sole purpose in existing. What a noble, beautiful, and awesome calling. It’s humbling.

As believers, we’re being molded, day by day, into Christ’s image.

Can I issue a challenge? (Myself included here😉❤️)

Embrace it.

Full throttle.
